Part-Time Internal Operations Manager
Contributed Line, a fundraising consultancy based in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Part-Time Sponsorships and Event Logistics Manager (Hourly) to assist with growing volume of client service work. This position supports the owner/president in building fundraising infrastructures for nonprofits. This position will be an independent contractor, sometimes referred to as a “1099 contractor,” not a “W2 employee.”
Work will not exceed 25hr/mo. Compensation begins at $30/hr with opportunity for increase after 3 months.
Contributed Line is a one-employee (1 FTE) company with a network of talented, dynamic, professional independent contractors who are treated respectfully, paid fairly, and honored and respected for their expertise. We help nonprofit organizations develop fundraising strategy, organize work related to the business of raising philanthropic money, and work closely with clients to provide high-context solutions in service of advancing clients’ relationships with their donors and securing philanthropic income. This is often carried out in deadline-driven, moderately aggressive timeframes. We help write and compile grant applications, execute mass communication campaigns, plan fundraising and donor appreciation events, and other related tasks and projects.
Purpose of this role: To support the company owner by overseeing and executing sponsorship campaigns across multiple client non-profit organizations. Contributed Line serves clients by developing and executing sponsorship campaigns.
Contributed Line clients need support for sponsorship campaigns and logistical aspects of their events, including multi-channel marketing and promotion, ticket sales, technical support, event descriptions, and monetary donation solicitation and facilitation. (Logistical event support provided by Contributed Line does not include event management, vendor and supply sourcing, auction management, and non-monetary donation procurement.)

Job Responsibilities
Work as a a Part-Time Sponsorship and Event Logistics Manager may include:
- Meeting twice weekly to assist the owner/president in:
- Event logistics management
- Sponsorship campaign management
- Deliverables (drafts, edits, requests to client for information)
- Workflow management
- Sponsor and client satisfaction optimization
- Ghostwriting client marketing and promotional materials
- Sponsorship menus
- Social media posts
- Flyers and ads
- Website content
- Mass emails
- Sponsorship campaign management
- Write and send multiple individuals email messages to potential sponsors
- Track points of contact, send/receive dates, replies, donation amounts
- Follow up assertively with potential sponsors to close the deal
- Facilitate gift fulfillment (payment) through invoice facilitation and/or prompt instructions and sponsor-to-client e-introductions
- Independent writing, proofreading, and editing
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in client service roles, such as creative agencies, marketing firms, etc.
- Knowledge of the norms, customs, and laws governing the nonprofit sector.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an institution of higher education, preferably in a discipline within the liberal arts and sciences
- Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Preferred Experience
Experience in sales. Media sales is especially relevant.
